LIVE action from the Chichester Harbour tern rafts – returning spring 2025!
Season 1 of Tern TV has finished and the Common Terns have flown back to West Africa for the winter months. Season 2 will hit your screens in spring 2025!
2024 was a successful season for the Common Terns in Chichester Harbour, with between 39 and 48 chicks fledging from the tern rafts. This was really good news after the devastation avian flu caused to the colony in 2023, and really underlines just how important nature recovery and habitat creation projects are in providing resilience for the harbour’s wildlife.
Following the success of the Return of the Tern project in creating breeding habitats to support Common Terns in Chichester Harbour, we are excited to present TERN TV! Follow along here for your daily dose of Tern life.
Tern TV is generously funded by The Friends of Chichester Harbour. Find out more about their work supporting nature recovery in Chichester Harbour, and donate by clicking the link below.
