Are you organised, detail-oriented, and looking for an interesting part-time role?

We’re looking for a proactive Administrative Officer to join our team and provide essential support to the Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme at Chichester Harbour National Landscape, based at the Harbour office in Itchenor.

About the Role

As the Administrative Officer for our farming team you will play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of the FiPL programme.  You will provide effective administrative and finance support, ensuring effective coordination across projects and partnerships.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative and financial support to multiple farming projects through initiation, project development, implementation, and conclusion.
  • Maintaining online filing systems, updating and managing data.
  • Monitoring expenditure against the programme budget and provide regular updates on progress towards programme spend.
  • Arranging, attending and taking minutes for Local Assessment Panel Meetings (6-8 meetings per year typically held 4pm – 8pm).

About You

Are you detail-oriented, organised, and enjoy handling a variety of projects and tasks. If so, this role is perfect for you! We are looking for someone with:

  • Project and  budget administration experience.
  • Administration qualification desirable.
  • Good ICT skills with knowledge of Microsoft word and excel essential.
