SPARKES MARINA – CORROSION PROTECTION WORKS

  1. Mariners are advised that corrosion protection works at Sparkes Marina is due to start w/c 2nd September 2024.
  2. Completion of works is expected to be late November, weather and tidal work permitting.
  3. Works will be undertaken by Solent Protective Coatings Ltd, Marine Parade, Hampshire SO14 5JF
  4. The works will apply a corrosion protection coating to the sheet piled wall surfaces above Low water level and an anode system may be installed below Low Water level.
  5. The works will be undertaken either from existing pontoons present at the site or from a small dory workboat which will be floated and berthed alongside the works area within reach of the quay wall.
  6. Cancel this LNTM 30 November 2024.
